APPLICATION

Applications must be submitted by 9 January 2017 (date of postmark) by sending the completed application form to the competition office.

‐ Letter of recommendation for participation in the competition from an academic instructor (for students)
‐ Proof of musical training (certificate of matriculation or a copy of the diploma)
‐ Artistic biography (in detail)
‐ Artist’s portrait (9x13 cm/3.5” x 5.1”, min 300 dpi)

Incomplete application and program forms cannot be accepted.
 
50,00 EUR ARE TO BE PAID FOR THE APPLICATION TO THE COMPETITION, ANOTHER 70,00 EUR ARE INCURRED FOR THE PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION. Both sums are to be transferred separately to the given account.
 
The APPLICATION FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF 50,00 EUR must be transferred – free of all charges for the recipient – BY 9 JANUARY 2017. The number of accepted applicants is limited to 70. Acceptance depends on the application’s date of receipt as well as completeness of the application documents. Decisions regarding acceptance are made by the competition office under the chairmanship of the competition president. Should participation not be possible due to limited capacity the application fee will be refunded.
 
Accepted participants will be informed in writing by 23 January 2017. The PARTICIPATION FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF 70,00 EUR must be transferred – free of all charges for the recipient – BY 6 FEBRUARY 2017. Applicants shall be entitled to participate in the competition once they have received this notice and remitted their registration fee.
   
If the credit transfer is not successfully made before the aforementioned date, the right of participation expires. The application fee will not be refunded in case of a participant withdrawing from the competition. The competition office shall be informed as soon as possible if a participant cannot take part in the competition due to force majeure.
 
Participants are responsible for organizing and paying for their own travel, accommodations and food.
